Bromma Marathon All-Electrics Headed To Chile

The world's leading crane spreader company, Stockholm ( Sweden ) based Bromma Group, has won a new order for six YSX40E Marathon all-electric spreaders for the container handling terminal in Valparaiso , Chile . The growing container terminals of Chile, with 18 Bromma crane spreaders already in service, is one of several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean where the full Bromma product range can increasingly be found. In addition, the Mexico market continues to be a major destination spot for Bromma crane spreaders.

Among the most vibrant markets for Bromma in the region today are Brazil , Colombia , Panama , Mexico and Puerto Rico , which between them have a combined total of 150 Bromma crane spreaders in service today.

"We are delighted with the many successful partnerships we continue to develop with container terminals in Latin America, Mexico , and the Caribbean " says Lars Fredin, Bromma Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. "Latin America, Mexico , and the Caribbean continue to be growth regions in container handling and Bromma is fortunate to continue to participate in that growth".

Bromma continues to develop the reach of its sales organization in the Latin American region, adding four new agent partners during 2006: Genair Inc. of Venezuela ; Rightrack Equipos y Soluciones S.A. of Ecuador, Triton Trading S.A. of Peru and Crane Partner Limited in Colombia .

Bromma spreaders have long been found throughout Latin America on the mobile harbour cranes in the region. The Bromma Marathon spreaders headed into service in Valparaiso will operate on RTG cranes produced by Kalmar . (FROM IAPH?/P>
